March is Women’s History Month so for today’s Wednesday’s Women in STEM Series, we are sharing a recent post from our friends at A Mighty Girl. We agree that girls can’t become what they don’t see which is why we love the STEM Mentor Panel we offer at our Parent-Daughter Workshops. This gives girls the opportunity to hear from women working in different STEM professions and to ask them questions about their jobs or how they got interested in STEM.
But for the girls that can’t make it to a workshop in person, A Mighty Girl has a set of eight FREE downloadable posters featuring women in STEM! Check them out and download a couple for your daughter as a visual reminder of all the amazing things she is capable of doing! You might recognize a few as women we’ve featured on STEM Like a Girl in the past.
