Abby comes to STEM Like a Girl with a passion for education and creating hands on learning opportunities for girls to get interested in STEM! Abby is passionate about connection, collaboration, and lifelong learning.  She was a 4th grade teacher in Indiana before transitioning into higher education at Purdue University. There, she built community partnerships, led service-learning initiatives, and supported teacher mentorship programs that connected education to meaningful engagement for our K-12 students.  Abby enjoys exploring Oregon’s outdoors with her husband and dogs, and is also an avid reader and community theater volunteer.
