It’s not magic…it’s CHEMISTRY!! Turmeric is a natural pH indicator that turned from orange to red when exposed to a base. Hand sanitizer is slightly acidic so the turmeric stays orange but baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is basic causing the color change to happen only in the areas that were painted!
